Treating Yourself Magazine ( Canadian)

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/18/07 -- "Treating Yourself -
The Alternative Medicine Journal," that provides medical marijuana
users with information to assist them in responsible use announces the
release of its ninth issue.

"I'm delighted with issue number nine. In just two years of publishing
this journal and building www.treatingyourself.com the growth and
quality of content and readers is phenomenal. It's something we're all
incredibly proud of," said Publisher, Marco Renda.

Highlights in the latest issue include:

- A behind-the-scenes look as Willie Nelson parks his B100
biodiesel-powered tour bus to break ground at the super-sizing of
Oregon's first commercial biodiesel plant.

- Meet "An Incredible Wo(Man)" Jason Ryde, AKA, "Barbie." Artist, Drag
Queen and HIV positive for 20-years, this ultimate survivor continues
to cope through the medicinal benefits of marijuana.

- An introduction to Iridology, a branch of alternative medicine that
involves diagnosis of one's state of health by specific colors, marks,
and signs that are seen in the iris of the eyes.

"This is - without a doubt - our best issue ever and the timing
couldn't be better as it coincides with the appointment of Michelle
Rainey as Director of Sales and Marketing for Treating Yourself," said
Renda.

Rainey is licensed by Health Canada to use marijuana for medicinal purposes

and is facing extradition to the United States. At 17, she was
diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and endured constant pain despite
surgeries and cocktails of prescription drugs until she discovered the
pain relieving properties of marijuana. Not only did it stop her
nausea, but it soothed so many of her other symptoms that she was able
to take herself off every prescribed medication she was taking. As a
walking example of the benefits of medical marijuana, Michelle quit
her successful banking career and helped found the British Columbia
Marijuana Party and the BCMP Bookstore. In July 2005, despite the fact
that Michelle is licensed to grow her own medicinal marijuana by
Health Canada, she and two other Canadians were charged with
conspiring to distribute marijuana and marijuana seeds and
money-laundering and are facing possible life sentences in a US
federal prison.

Marco Renda is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of "Treating Yourself
-The Alternative Medicine Journal" and the founder of
www.treatingyourself.com, the largest medical marijuana forum on the
Internet receiving over four million hits per month and rated number
one on Yahooka.com. Renda has suffered from Hepatitis C for 24 years
and became licensed to use medicinal marijuana by Health Canada in
2003. Marco also suffers from arthritis, Gastroesophageal Reflux
Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
